4.48 Psychosis

Play by Sarah Kane

Directed by Alicia Herder

In a world where reality and the imagined freely mix, this production of 4.48 Psychosis follows a woman with bipolar disorder, her spiral towards suicide, and how her actions before and after her death impact her husband and psychiatrist. During the rehearsal process, the cast and crew sat down with women who have bipolar disorder and discussed the trials of living with this "illness." The performances were in honor of those battling suicide and depression, and all proceeds from ticket sales went to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
